All 40 grind settings are capable enough for consistently delivering a consistent grind size, which is non-negotiable when you want balanced coffee. The conical burrs will stay sharp for years. Rocks concealing in coffee beans can overpower coffee grinders. The Baratza’s GearBox 2.0 is sharp enough to shut off when things that are excessively difficult come in touch with the burrs. Further, the inclusion of glass-filled thermoplastic decreases noise and improves gear longevity. The grinder includes a side-mounted on/off switch that lets you step away from the grinder and perform other things.
